The Greenville Triumph SC, a professional soccer team in the South Carolina Upstate, had outgrown its temporary stadium and needed a new home. The capstone project in my Sports Marketing class challenged us to conduct market research, find a new location, and devise a marketing campaign to support the move. My group proposed an inclusive, family-oriented stadium, local collaboration to enrich the game experience and involvement in the community, and activation on social to build excitement and connection. Ultimately, two Greenville Triumph SC Club Leadership Team members and our professor selected our pitch as the Best Overall from both class sections.
