The Blended Fruit
In my senior year, I took a graphics course. Up until that point, everything I had used for class projects, hobbies, and internship work were skills I learned in context. This introductory class was a great way to re-introduce me to Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. I learned new techniques like photo retouching, setting up files for print, and industry-standard techniques for producing print and digital media.
For the final course assignment, I created a restaurant logo of the original name and style with a menu and business card to match. This project utilized all of the Adobe Creative Cloud software. I came up with a juice and smoothie bar in Austin, TX. After researching similar businesses in the area, The Blended Fruit, with its fresh, vivid palette and fun script font, came to life.
